About Chris Walsh

  

Our Chief Engineer, Chris Walsh, is a Vanderbilt University graduate with nearly 30 years of diverse transportation engineering experience.  The first part of his career included working on countless development projects, including more than 20 Developments of Regional Impact (DRI) which demanded excellence in both transportation planning and engineering as well as the ability to partner with local agencies and FDOT to develop timely and innovative solutions to ensure appropriate transportation infrastructure was in place commensurate with development impacts.  Chris has also served as Project Manager for transportation engineering contracts for numerous public agencies such as Volusia County, Lake County, Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach, River to Sea TPO, and many many more.  Additionally, he served as Project Manager on a variety of FDOT contracts including safety contracts for FDOT-5/FDOT-1, access management for FDOT-1, traffic operations support for FDOT-7, and the ~$700k design of intersection improvements along US 1 in the City of Holly Hill.  Given his broad resume, Chris has a proven ability to lead projects from initial concept on through project implementation.  Lastly, whether working on behalf of a FDOT, a local agency, or developer, Chris is well regarded for his solutions-oriented approach to each and every project....preserving the safety and operations for the traveling public at-large.
